As you may know, diamonds are available in a variety of colors...various shades of yellow, blue, pink, and even black. But the color that is all the rage right now is a deep chocolate brown. We have assembled an exclusive collection of these rich chocolate colored diamonds set in a wide range of rings, pendants and earrings. We call them our "CoCo Collection", and they're all mounted in 14K rose gold. They are spectacular, and will soon be available exclusively here at E.M. Smith Jewelers. Stay tuned for further posts regarding our "CoCo Collection", which will arrive later in April.

Did you know that diamonds attract grease like a magnet? In fact, when diamond ore is mined, it is dumped on conveyor belts covered with grease. As the belts rotate, diamond crystals actually stick to the grease while the rest of the ore falls away. While grease may be useful when mining diamonds, it absolutely kills the sparkle of your diamonds when they come in contact with lotions, soaps, or anything else with an oily or greasy base. That's why it is so important to keep your diamond jewelry clean. Be sure to soak your diamond jewelry every night in a jar of our jewelry cleaner. Do this every night and you'll be shocked at how many people will suddenly notice your super-sparkly diamonds! To make your own jewelry cleaner, mix 3 oz. of water with one 1 oz. of ammonia and just a squirt of Dawn dishwashing liquid. Or, if you don't want to make your own, stop in our store and mention this blog, and we'll give you a jar absolutely free.
